We are recruiting for a Parts Delivery Driver to join the team at our Mercedes-Benz dealership located in Trafford Park!

As a Parts Delivery Driver you will be responsible for the delivery of all parts orders safely, courteously and efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times. The role will require you to cross-check customer orders against invoices, and plan delivery routes efficiently to minimise journey time and maximise cost effectiveness.

We are looking for someone who enjoys interacting with customers, is committed to providing the highest levels of customer service and is a shining eStar ambassador when out on the road.

Package Details:

• £25,396 per annum
• Based from Trafford Park with daily and frequent travel to customer sites and other eStar sites
• 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday
• 07:00 – 15:30
• 23 days’ holiday each year plus bank holidays

Key Purpose of the Job:

• To ensure customer satisfaction in the delivering of parts
• To carry out such work in a safe and economical manner
• To employ such knowledge and skills as may be required to drive vehicles and conduct all transactions with customers with the utmost courtesy

Accountabilities:

• To deliver all parts safely, courteously and efficiently to the satisfaction of our customers
• Prior to departure, check the customer’s orders against our parts invoice and the parts assembled for delivery
• To plan delivery routes efficiently to minimise driving and maximise cost effectiveness
• To achieve realistic delivery times following pre-arranged schedules
• To ensure all parts deliveries are authorised and signed for on receipt
• To ensure that all work undertaken is conducted to our Quality System requirements/procedures and all administration is documented correctly
• To promptly address the needs of all potential customers to ensure total customer satisfaction
• To demonstrate the ability to acquire product knowledge through every day practices and training courses
• To ensure that the ‘Old Unit Returns’ system is adhered to
• To keep the delivery van clean and tidy and report any vehicle defects
• To ensure compliance with the Health and Safety Policy and ISO requirements

Skills and Competencies Required:

• To hold a current and valid UK driving licence
• To understand basic vehicle layout, function and location of parts
• To be capable of courteous service to customers
• Enthusiasm to deliver the Mercedes-Benz customer experience
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Flexible approach to work and adaptable to thrive in a changing environment
• IT literate
